Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has handed an ultimatum to the club, prove that they want him or the Portuguese playmaker will leave.
Speculation has been rife over the midfielder’s future as he wants to compete at the highest level, before Fernandes made his stance clear after Wednesday’s win over Newcastle.
“The club needs to want me,” Fernandes said. “I feel the club wants me to be a part of the future.
“As I said always, I don’t want to be a player that the club doesn’t want to have. If for some reason they don’t want to have me, I will go. But if they want me, I will stay.”
