Infamous Long Island hot dog vendor accused of selling sex busted for stalking

The 57-year-old Long Island woman who became known as “The Hot Dog Hooker” after trying to sell sex out of a weiner truck in 2012 is now accused of stalking an employee at an East Rockaway business, where she allegedly flashed her breasts and made antisemitic remarks.

Catherina Scalia was arrested Tuesday, according to Long Island News12. She was charged with three counts of stalking on Wednesday, per ABC 7.

The alleged victim told authorities that over the past year, Scalia has shown up to the Main Street Business Center as many as 15 times a day to harass him. Scalia also allegedly hounded the 51-year-old victim while he was at home.

In his complaint, the unidentified victim reportedly said he feared he could lose his job if his alleged stalker kept showing up.

More than a decade ago, Scalia giggled while admitting to a judge she engaged in an act of prostitution, according to Newsday. She was sentenced to a week in jail and compelled to agree to psychiatric evaluation.

“I’m sexy and I know it,” Scalia reportedly said after leaving jail in 2012.

Nassau County Police have not returned a request for comment regarding Scalia’s latest arrest.
