Max Verstappen is intrigued by the possibility of joining Mercedes after being left impressed by Toto Wolff’s recent comments, according to GP Blog.
Wolff has made no secret of his desire to land Verstappen and recently said it was ‘almost a certainty’ that he will work with the Dutchman at some point.
Those comments appear to have gone down well with Verstappen, who reportedly ‘appreciates’ that he would be welcomed at Mercedes with open arms.
However, the report adds that no formal talks have taken place between the two parties as of yet.
