Body of missing student Riley Strain found in Cumberland River

The body of Riley Strain, a University of Missouri student who disappeared after he was booted from country singer Luke Bryan’s Nashville bar, has been located.

“The body of Riley Strain was recovered from the Cumberland River in West Nashville this morning, approximately 8 miles from downtown,” police said on social media.

Police added that no “foul play-related trauma was observed” and an autopsy is pending.

Strain, 22, disappeared during a trip to Tennessee with his fraternity brothers for spring formal. He was last seen just before 10 p.m. on March 8., shortly after he was kicked out of Luke’s 32 Bridge.
