FA release statement over divisive England kit after backlash to St George's Cross design


The Football Association has released a statement amid the whirlwind of controversy surrounding the colours of the St George’s Cross on the England football team’s latest shirt. Despite mass opposition to the colour scheme, including from UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Keir Starmer, there are no plans to recall the shirt.
