World Snooker Championship scores LIVE: John Higgins in danger with Ronnie O'Sullivan tied

Ronnie O’Sullivan will resume his match with Stuart Bingham today level at 4-4 as the pair battle for a place in the semi finals of the World Snooker Championship. And the ‘Rocket’, who recovered from being 3-1 down at the mid-session interval, isn’t the only former champion whose match is finely poised with Judd Trump locked at 8-8 with Jak Jones. Neither of the top two seeds were at their fluent best yesterday, and will need to go up a notch today or risk a shock exit.

But John Higgins once again displayed all his fighting qualities to battle back against Kyren Wilson. At 4-0 down and in danger of being blown away, Higgins responded with a strong afternoon session and will start again this morning only 5-3 down.

One game that currently is one-sided though, is the contest between David Gilbert and Stephen Maguire. Gilbert leads 10-6 and it could have been more after he cruised into a 7-1 lead, with frustration clearly getting to his Scottish opponent who at one point, punched the table in frustration.

We could be in for a mail-biting day at the Crucible with all four quarter finals to be decided. So strap in and follow all the action courtesy of our live blog below…
