Vladimir Putin’s forces launched nearly 200 attacks on Ukraine in the last 24 hours, targeting Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements in a devastating onslaught, according to officials.
The barrage included 33 missile strikes, 70 air raids, and 91 MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) assaults, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by Ukrinform.
The attacks spanned across various regions, with enemy airstrikes hitting settlements including Peremoha and Popivka in Sumy, Zolochiv, Kozacha Lopan, and Starytsia in Kharkiv, and Serebrianske Forestry and Bilohorivka in Luhansk.
Areas such as Terny, Yampolivka, Ozerne, and several others in Donetsk were also targeted, along with Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia.
Artillery fire rained down on approximately 100 settlements in regions including Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv.

Despite the relentless assaults, Ukrainian forces stood firm, repelling multiple enemy attacks across different sectors, according to Ukrainian officials.
In Kharkiv’s Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defence forces thwarted an enemy assault outside Synkivka. In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attacks near various settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
The resilience of Ukrainian troops was evident in the Bakhmut sector, where they repelled eight enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in Donetsk. In Avdiivka, Ukrainian defenders held off ten enemy attacks near Berdychi and Pervomaiske.
On the Novopavlivka axis, Ukrainian forces successfully defended against 25 attempts by the enemy, supported by aircraft, to breach their defences near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine.
