PHOTOS: Powerful earthquake rattles Taiwan, kills at least 9


At least nine people are dead and nearly 1,000 injured following a 7.4-magnitude earthquake in Taiwan on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The quake was the strongest to hit the country in 25 years, collapsing buildings and triggering landslides throughout the area. The powerful quake was felt in parts of China, and dozens of strong aftershocks were recorded following the initial earthquake, causing more damage.
