Cops release images of men who fatally shot hardworking Brooklyn father and immigrant

Police on Monday released photos of the men they say fatally shot a hardworking father supporting both family in the city and his wife and three kids back in Guinea.

The gunfire rang out outside Lamine Bah’s apartment building on McKeever Place near Sullivan Place in Crown Heights on the evening of Feb. 28, cops said.

The 33-year-old victim had heard e-bikes parked outside were getting towed and Bah, who uses his set of wheels to deliver food, ran out to make sure his bike was not removed, his family told the Daily News after the slaying.

Outside, two men approached and one fired off multiple shots, striking Bah in the head, cops said.

The man took off on foot, leaving Bah mortally wounded on the pavement.

Medics rushed him to Kings County Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Bah worked as a cook at a nearby West African restaurant during the day and moonlighted as a DoorDash delivery person using his e-bike, his siblings said.

He’d lived in the Brooklyn apartment with his parents, four brothers and two sisters since he immigrated from Guinea in 2019, according to relatives.

He helped support the family while also sending money home to his wife and their three sons ages 5, 3 and 7 months.

Police released photos of the suspected gunman in the hopes someone may recognize them. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
