A bridge has collapsed after being struck by a ship and suffering damage, according to reports on social media.
Huge Spans of the Francis Scott Key Bridge Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland in the US appear to have collapsed into the water after being hit by the ship.
Fire Boat operator Andrew Doyle posted to X: “A container ship has struck the Key Bridge in Baltimore. Part of the bridge has collapsed. Multiple fire and police boats are on the way.”
