25-year-old man loses control of motorcycle, dies in Staten Island crash



A 25-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle in Staten Island on Tuesday, police said.

The rider was cruising in his motorcycle near the corner of Richmond Ave. and Signs Road in Bulls Head around 7:50 p.m. when he skidded out and crashed into a light pole in the center median of the avenue.

Medics rushed him to Richmond University Medical Center, but he could not be saved.

The motorcyclist’s name was not immediately released as cops worked to notify his family of the death.
