Wynonna Judd’s daughter arrested for indecent exposure on an Alabama highway

Wynonna Judd’s adult daughter has been arrested after authorities say she exposed herself at the intersection of a highway and interstate in Alabama.

Police arrested Grace Kelley on Friday and charged the 27-year-old with two misdemeanors: indecent exposure and obstructing government operations, according to charging documents obtained by AL.com. She allegedly exposed both her breasts and lower body at the intersection of Interstate 65 and Highway 14. The latter charge was for reportedly refusing to identify herself to authorities, according to the outlet.

Kelley, daughter of the 59-year-old country star and ex-husband Arch Kelley III, has a court date scheduled for Thursday.

Her multiple legal issues date back nearly a decade, beginning with a late 2015 charge for the promotion of meth manufacture, which saw her plead guilty to the lesser offense of possession of meth.

Kelley was reportedly arrested last May for violating an order of protection as well as violating parole and was released from custody in October 2023.

Kelley made the Grammy winner, 59, a grandmother when she gave birth to daughter Kaliyah in April 2022 — the same month Naomi Judd died by suicide.

The matriarch died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 30 of that year, the day before she and daughter Wynonna — who together formed the duo, The Judds — were set to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Wynonna addressed both the loss of her mother and the arrival of her granddaughter in a heartfelt Instagram post at the end of May 2022.

“I DO know, that the pain of losing Mom on 4/30 to suicide is so great, that I often feel like I’m not ever going to be able to fully accept and surrender to the truth that she left the way she did. This cannot be how The Judds[‘] story ends,” she wrote at the time. “I DO know, that in order to be a healthier grandparent to my firstborn grandchild Kaliyah, {born 4/13, 2 weeks & 2 days before Mom left}, to break the cycle of addiction & family dysfunction, that I must continue to show up for myself {first} and do the personal healing work. … It’s okay to reach out for help. I will continue to fight for my faith, for my SELF, for my family, and I WILL continue to show up & sing.”
