Woman is killed and three children rushed to hospital after horror smash saw their car speed into a tree

A woman has been killed and three children rushed to hospital after a fatal car crash in regional New South Wales.

A car smashed into a tree in Mendooran near the Castlereagh River in the state’s central west on Monday afternoon.

Three children have been flown to Westmead Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.

A woman however sadly passed away after the single car crash.
