Wild California police chase ends with naked woman on top of an SUV

A high-speed chase ended with police in Los Angeles County confronting a naked woman standing atop a car and holding up rush hour traffic.

The incident took place Wednesday night along the 405 Freeway in Northeast Torrance, roughly an hour south of Los Angeles.

The chaos unfolded as California Highway Patrol officers tried to pull over a black SUV driving in an emergency lane, according to KTLA. When police gave chase, the SUV reportedly accelerated to 95 mph before coming to a complete stop in the middle of the freeway.

Cellphone video taken by other drivers shows the suspect climbing through the sunroof of her vehicle and removing all her clothes as she appears to pose for police and passersby.

Cops attempted to talk her down from the roof, but she allegedly resisted arrest and was forcibly taken into custody a few minutes later.

An officer suffered minor injuries while apprehending the suspect, who was later identified as 35-year-old Trayanna Enriquez, according to Fox LA.

Enriquez was booked by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department on multiple charges, including felony reckless evading, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.

It’s not clear if drugs or alcohol were involved.
