Scrubbing oily food off a pan is normally time consuming and requires lots of elbow grease, but not if you’re doing it properly! Express.co.uk chatted to the experts at Dri-Pak to find out how to clean an oily pan.
Why you should NEVER clean oily frying pans in the sink or dishwasher

If you can’t get rid of the oil, simply sprinkle some Soda Crystals into the oily pan.
Shake up the crystals to make sure they’re evenly distributed and watch them stick to the oil.
Then, scrape the soda crystals into the bin to reveal an oil-free pan.
Dri-Pak’s experts commented: “You’ll probably find that you can simply run the pan under the hot tap. It makes cleaning much easier.
“Finally, just using hot water and a cloth or sponge to clean the pan.”
