When to plant peonies

0

While some sources advise against planting in December, award-winning gardener and member of the Peony Society, Claire Austin, told Country Living that in her three decades’ experience, she’s never seen a reason to avoid December.

When it comes to producing the perfect peonies, how deep you plant them is of utmost importance.

Herbaceous peonies need to be planted with the budding stems no more than two centimetres beneath the surface of the soil.
