The stay-at-home rule will be replaced by a stay local requirement, with households in Wales being allowed to socialise again, albeit in limited numbers.

Non-essential services, such as hairdressers, are also going to reopen, but retail will stay closed for the time being.

So far, 33.5 percent of the Welsh population have had the first dose of a coronavirus vaccine and 7.5 percent have had a full vaccination, according to Public Health Wales figures.

A total of 1,056,787 people in Wales have been given a first dose while 237,357 have had the full two doses.
