Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, became famous after she shared her cleaning tips on social media and TV. The cleaning star has since managed to amass over 4.1 million followers on Instagram. Now, fans of hers have created their own Facebook groups dedicated to cleaning and tidying tips.

A fifth user suggested: “You need to get pans for electric hob.

“They have a different bottom that are suitable.

“You can buy hob cleaner from eBay – works a treat!”

Induction hobs only work with pots and pans that contain ferrous metal in the base.

“May need to do it a couple of times. Hope this helps.”

A second person replied: “A glass scraper would remove it and I’d recommend Hob Brite too.

“As a cleaner, I wouldn’t use Pink Stuff or anything abrasive on a client’s hob fearing I would scratch it.”

A third user said: “Hob Brite and a magic eraser sponge and a microfibre cloth to buff.

“May take a good few goes. I just got a hob like this.”

A fourth penned: “Hob Brite and a glass scraper, and always wipe the bottom of a pan before you put it on the hob.”
