This comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin signs a decree for 150,000 more men to be mobilised into the Russian army.
All men in Russia are required to do year-long military service from the age of 18.
In July, Russia’s parliament voted to raise the maximum age of conscription from 27 to 30 to enable more men to be called up.
The legislation came into force on January 1, 2024.
