Brits could be plunged into sub-zero temperatures as early as next week just days after scorching temperatures hit the UK.
Temperatures could fall to 4C in London next week, as Scotland and parts of Belfast will be facing freezing conditions.
Met Office forecaster Tom Morgan told the Express that “some rural spots” could even see lows of -3C in overnight frosts during the first part of the week.
Forecaster WXCharts wetaher map shows snowy scenes could be on the horizon, thanks to Arctic winds blowing in from the north.
The radar shows the first band of snow sweeping in across the north of Scotland late on Friday April 29.
May then begins with widespread snow across the United Kingdom, with flakes falling in the south of England and Wales.
