UFC star Molly McCann overwhelmed with emotion as she learns she’s won the $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus following her win over Ji Yeon Kim

Molly McCann looked blown away as she received the news that her fight on Saturday had been labelled the Fight of the Night, an award which carries with it a $50,000 bonus.
McCann got then better of Ji Yeon Kim over three rounds in Las Vegas, winning 29-28 on all three judges’ scorecards.
It ended a run of back-to-back losses and she was clearly emotional following the win.

And she became emotional again on Sunday after hearing the fight had been chosen as the most entertaining of the evening.
The Liverpudlian shared a video of herself struggling to hold back the tears after seeing the news on her phone before screaming ‘yes’.
She captioned the video ’50gs baby’, a reference to a famous quote from Conor McGregor when he first won the award.
Speaking after the fight, McCann said: ‘I wanted to give the fans something,’ McCann said. ‘You know I fight for the fans. I could just hear my coach and I knew who wanted it more in that last round. I want a new contract, that was the last fight on my contract and I just had to show my worth.
‘After the headbutt that dropped me in the first round, honest to God me hands feel broke, but I thought, what am I made of? I’m made of that pure Scouse nastiness and I put my hands down, walked forward, let’s just go. I wanted it more, I landed better shots, and I am on top of the world.’
