Liz held back tears and in a moving moment, she presented Dominic with a badge and said: “From me and Ken – thank you.”
Jay asked what it was, and Liz explained it was a lapel badge from the 12th Royal Lancers old comrades, which Ken used to wear.
A shocked Dominic was visibly taken aback and touched by the gesture.
“No, are you sure?” he asked, to which Liz replied: “I’m certain, it’s from both of us.”
