Bradley Walsh had welcomed budding quizzers Michael, Paul, Emma and Julia onto The Chase on Tuesday to try and pocket some cash. However, quizmaster Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty did her best to try and ensure that wasn’t the case. However, while the tense head to heads and tricky questions caught the eye, it was a rudely-worded answer to a question about artist Van Gogh which will live long in the ITV host’s memory.
The hilarious moment came after Julia, Paul and Emma had already bested the Chaser to make it back to the Final Chase.
Final player Michael, however, couldn’t replicate their success, bowing out at the final hurdle and leaving Anne with three players to beat.
But during his head to head with Anne, Bradley asked: “Which of these is a painting by Vincent Van Gogh?”
The possible answers were: “A) Lying Mare, B) Lying Hound, or C) Lying Cow.”
