Susanna Reid compared Thomas Markle’s leaking a letter Meghan Markle wrote to him with the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have held conversations with Prince William as well as Prince Charles. The Good Morning Britain presenter described the latest leak from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as troubling.
Ms Reid said: “The successful legal action that Meghan took was over the disclosure of private communication between family members.
“Now they have disclosed what I am sure the other family members thought was a private conversation between family members.
“That is troubling for people to see.”
On Monday US commentator Gayle King stated that Prince Harry had spoken to Prince William as well as Prince Charles.

Ms King told CBS: “Well I’m not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling, and it’s true, Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too.
“The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive but they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.”
She added: “And I think what is still upsetting to them is the palace keep saying they want to work it out privately, but yet, they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan, still.
“No one in the Royal Family has talked to Meghan yet, at this particular time.
“I think if this type of private information shared with everybody continues there is a potential for there to be a backlash and their brand be damaged.
“So I think they are going to have to be careful on who is speaking on their behalf.
“Certainly, Gayle King is a good friend of Harry and Meghan but when a third party gets involved you are suddenly left thinking ‘did Harry and Meghan say that exactly or is this Miss King’s interpretation’.
“The waters start to get a little muddied and that is what then complicates things further.”
