THEY’RE some of the most recognisable faces on the planet.
But by dressing up as their peers, even some the world’s biggest celebs have been able to fool fans and slip under the radar – as themselves at least.

The 32-year-old looked amazing wearing a purple wig and mini dress – taking inspiration from the singer’s California Gurls video while filming Celebrity Juice.
Here are some of the most convincing costumes celebs have donned in recent years.

From dressing as Janet and Michael Jackson with daughter Blue Ivy, to rapper Lil’ Kim, the singer knows how to replicate other peoples’ style.
In fact, Beyoncé dedicated Halloween 2017 to not one Lil’ Kim look, but four – from the neon green get up she wore for her 1997 No Way Out tour to a sheer bodysuit red carpet look.
Kylie Jenner as Christina Aguilera

Harry Styles as Elton John
Harry Styles found an identical version of a costume Elton John wore in 1975[/caption]
Both Harry Styles and Elton John know a thing or two about statement dressing, so it made sense for the former One Directioner to transform into the iconic singer.
With thousands of outlandish costumes to choose from, it can’t have been an easy decision, but Harry opted for an identical version of Elton’s sparkle-covered Dodgers uniform.
Elton originally wore it for performances at the Dodger Stadium in 1975.
Paris Hilton as Miley Cyrus
Paris Hilton got Miley Cyrus’ 2013 VMAs outfit bang on[/caption]
Miley Cyrus twerking in a teddy bear body suit alongside Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke was one of the most talked about performances of the year at the 2013 MTV VMAs.
So it was the perfect inspo for Paris Hilton when she partied at the Playboy Mansion that same year.
As well as getting the outfit bang on, Paris also stuck her tongue out for paps, channelling Miley’s personality.
Kourtney Kardashian as Ariana Grande
Kourtney Kardashian looked identical to Ariana Grande despite a 15-year age difference[/caption]
Kourtney Kardashian transformed into pop star Ariana Grande for Halloween in 2018.
Despite the 42-year-old mum-of-three being almost 15 years older than the Into You singer, she looked strikingly similar in a pink baby doll dress and her trademark high ponytail.
Completing her look with a microphone, the reality star seemed delighted with her look as she fiercely posed for her fans on Instagram.
Katy Perry as Freddie Mercury
Katy Perry looked unrecognisable as her music influence Freddie Mercury[/caption]
Katy Perry has previously said that Freddie Mercury was a major influence on her music career.
So, for her 24th birthday in 2008, she dressed up as the Queen legend.
Wearing Freddie’s trademark all-white outfit, and yellow jacket, plus a moustache, Katy looked unrecognisable.

The outfit attracted the attention of supermodel Winnie Harlow in particular, who recreated the look 25 years on, absolutely nailing every detail from her peroxide blonde hair and striking poses.
If there’s one thing all these celebs have in common, it’s meticulous attention to detail – and some talented tailors!
