Somerset town dubbed ‘new Notting Hill’ named top country hotspot for buyers by Rightmove

The market town has a population of just under 5,000 inhabitants and has seen the number of sales agreed in the past year increase by 122 percent.

According to Rightmove, asking prices have also risen by seven percent over the past year to £268,360.

Donington, a small village in Lincolnshire, has also seen an increase in home sales agreed.

The average asking price is now £165,617 which is an increase of 6.8 percent in the past year.
