The grant covers May to September 2021, but it is only worth three months of average monthly trading profits.
For the 30 percent amount, the total grant is capped at £2,850, while the 80 percent grant is capped at £7,500.
How much a claimant receives for SEISS grant five will depend on their business’ turnover.
Dan Stopp, UK Accounting Manager at Bokio, told Express.co.uk: “Whereas SEISS grant 4 has been set at 80 percent of three months’ average trading profits for all claimants, with a cap of £7,500, these same criteria only apply to SEISS grant 5 claimants who have experienced a reduction in turnover of 30 percent or more.
“Those with a reduction in turnover of less than 30 percent will receive a grant equating to 30 percent of three months’ average trading profit, with a cap of £2,850.”
