RYLAN Clark has been tipped to return to This Morning and replace Eamonn Holmes.

It comes as the charismatic The One Show host is already a big hit with ITV viewers when he has been on before.

A source told OK! mag: “In a dream world they’d also love Rylan to come back.

“He’s a big hit with viewers and had a great rapport with Rochelle Humes when they presented the show together in 2019.”

They added: “Rylan left the TM family in 2019 and it was a big blow, they’d love him back.”

Eamonn quit This Morning after 15 years last week.

The 61-year-old will reportedly be joining GB News.

A source told The Mirror: “Eamonn’s move to GB News marks the end of an era.”

“He’ll be missed by many ITV viewers but, the truth is, this job offer probably came at just the right moment for both him and ITV. All good things come to an end.”

It’s thought he will be fronting his own show on GB News ‘several times a week’ and is expected to start next year.

Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford were axed from their regular Friday slot on the show last year as part of a diversity drive, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary taking their place.

The couple had presented Friday’s episode of This Morning since 2006 – but after a shake-up they are now only called in during the school holidays when the main hosts have time off.

Bookies are already offering prices on who will replace him in the hot seat as the show’s premier male stand-in.

Stars including Vernon Kay, Marvin Humes, Bradley Walsh and Stephen Mulhern are also said to be big contenders to replace Eamonn.
