Roma 2-1 Salernitana: Chris Smalling’s late strike seals comeback win to keep Jose Mourinho’s men in the hunt for top four spot in Serie A after Carles Perez had cancelled out Ivan Radovanovic’s thunderbolt

Roma scored twice in the last nine minutes to boost their hopes of finishing in the top four by beating bottom-of-the-table Salernitana.

Jose Mourinho’s men were humbled by Norwegian minnows Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday.

And Roma, who were unbeaten in their last 10 Serie A games, were stunned by Ivan Radovanovic’s thunderbolt in the 22nd minute on Sunday.

Franck Ribery touched a free kick to the Serbian midfielder who fired an unstoppable drive past the goalkeeper.

Roma winger Carles Perez equalised in the 81st minute and Chris Smalling grabbed the winner in the 85th minute.
