2.) Sandhurst – April 12, 2006
The Queen was captured smiling at Prince Harry as she inspected soldiers at their passing-out Sovereign’s Parade at Sandhurst Military Academy.
Judi James told Express.co.uk: “What would normally have been a very formal royal occasion is turned into something a lot more emotional here as the Queen gazes up into the face of her grandson and flashes a wide, mischievous grin as he stands on parade.
“Normally it is Harry’s role to make the other royals laugh but on this occasion, the Queen got to turn the tables and this very sweet, affectionate moment shows Harry trying to keep his eyes level and suppress a grin (and losing) while his grandmother beams up at him in what looks like a bid to make him crack up.”
“The Queen’s naughty smile also shows high levels of pride and affection for her grandson and Harry’s mirrored beam suggests similar emotions.”
