The presenters’ last post on his account was a final goodbye to the flagship news program, that he hosted for five years.
He wrote alongside a photo of his dressing room full of huge cardboard boxes: “Goodbye, Good Morning Britain!” before revealing he wouldn’t be taking with him his life-size cardboard cut-out of his former co-host Susanna Reid.
“(I think I’ll leave the cardboard cut-out, would be a bit creepy to take that home…)” he laughed.
Susanna bid farewell to her pal after he dramatically stepped down from his post three weeks ago.
