“We didn’t want him doing school work in his room as there would be too many distractions, and he recognised that.
“The corridor is long, it’s outside his room and it has windows so he can see out from where he worked.
“His desk will remain there actually.”
Phil said he is excited to see how people use their spaces creatively when judging the competition.
Phil said: “I think people joining the competition will have gone the extra mile. They may have decorated their office space in a particular way, whether it’s under the stairs or in a hallway or even a specific room.
“To take the plunge and decorate it as an office will be good to see.
“Somewhere that’s comfortable and inviting, well-lit and that feels like a work space.
“I’m excited to see the creativity because people will have done some pretty amazing stuff.
“Some whacky stuff as well as the more standard office in a bedroom.”
