Person fatally struck by Manhattan subway train: sources



A person was struck and killed by a Manhattan subway train on Wednesday, police sources said.

Cops were called to the 28th St. Station in Chelsea around 4:05 p.m., authorities said.

When they arrived, they discovered the person under the train. Medics pronounced the individual dead at the scene.

It was not immediately clear how the person ended up on the tracks.
