Speaking to Express.co.uk, he said: “In terms of scams for people I think you need to take it into the context of whenever you get your card out for a payment.
“Whether it’s in the car park, whether it’s in the pub, you’re exposing your payment credentials to an outside audience.
“It’s a problem full stop when you take your card out of your wallet.
“You go to an ATM, quite a few people get defrauded at ATM’s where someone’s put some kind of reader or camera in the machine.”
