Every year the Owen family head to the Muker Show where they have a long history of winning awards. However the social distancing restrictions, the show was cancelled in 2020 and Amanda Owen decided to create her own competition for her children who were gutted to miss out.

“Like so many other things around the country, the annual summer show in Muker is cancelled,” the narrator explained on the latest episode of Our Yorkshire Farm.

“It’s major event for the Owen family who have attended the show every year since the kids were born. So missing it is a huge disappointment.”

Amanda explained: “Usually we look forward to Muker show because it’s the end of the school holidays, it’s all the signs that it’s time to knuckle down but not this year of course because, you haven’t been to school since when Edith?”

“March,” her daughter replied as Amanda continued: “Easter? Of course Muker show is cancelled, we haven’t got that to look forward to.
