No, Taylor Swift isn’t on Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ track ‘Bodyguard’

Despite fans’ speculation, Taylor Swift doesn’t feature on “Bodyguard,” one of the tracks off Beyoncé’s new album, “Country Carter.”

The Daily News on Friday confirmed that the “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, does not provide uncredited vocals on the track.

At the time of publication, full credits for the song — the eighth track on the country-infused album — were not available on the official website for the 42-year-old “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer’s music.

Jason Lipshutz, executive director of music at Billboard, also shut down the fan theory, simply responding, “Nope,” to one tweet that read: “IS TAYLOR DOING THE BACKGROUND VOCALS FOR BODYGUARD OR NOT SOMEONE TELL ME.”

Some hopefuls are holding strong, though. One fan wrote they are “not believing what any publication says until beyoncé or taylor come out and say themselves” that the latter didn’t work on the song.

The belief that the album, which Beyoncé announced in a Super Bowl ad for Verizon, might feature a collaboration between the superstars only gained traction when one of her collaborators, Killah B, promised TMZ that the Destiny’s Child breakout was “on the approach of shocking the world.”

While there’s no confirmation on if or when Beyoncé and Swift will eventually make music together, the pop icons cheered each other on last year at the red carpet premieres of their respective concert films.

Of course, Swift’s album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” out next month, could always feature a surprise cameo from the “Irreplaceable” singer.
