Most affordable supermarket to get Easter lunch for the long weekend unveiled

Finance experts at Cashfloat figured out which UK supermarket offers the most affordable trolly shop for Easter weekend essentials.

Ingredients included in the research included half a leg of lamb, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes.

Touted as the least affordable supermarket chain for Easter lunch is Morrisons, costing shoppers £33.74.

According to the research, Lidl offers the most affordable Easter lunch at £15.32, compared to other major retailers like Morrisons where costs could double.

Aldi offers a similar food spread to Lidl but may cost up to £3.30 more, which means you could spend £18.82 for a typical Easter lunch.
