Video shows concert hall in Moscow under attack by gunmen
The new interrogation footage follows similarly gruesome videos released yesterday of the Russian security forces cutting off a terror suspect’s ear and forcing him to eat it.
The new photograph, shared widely on Wagner Group-linked Telegram channels, reveals a graphic torture scene.
One of the suspected gunmen, named as Shamsuddin Fariddun, can be seen lying on the floor with his trousers pulled down and wires hooked to his genitals.
Shamsuddin, who is clenching his mouth, appears to be in excruciating pain.
A Russian security service official stands over him with his foot on Shamsuddin’s knee.
A Telegram channel that shared the photo said it was “an ordinary interrogation” technique.
It added: “By turning the coil, discharges are released through the wires. Up to 80 volts, which in turn are connected to the prisoner by the fingers, ears or genitals. For best effect, the captured militant should be poured with water.”
This follows videos leaked onto Telegram yesterday which showed the dramatic moment the suspects were arrested – with one of the alleged terrorists filmed shaking and confessing to carrying out the attack for half a million rubles.

Meanwhile, today it was revealed that a photographer recognised Shamsuddin staking out the Crocus City Hall, where the massacre took place, more than weeks before the attack.
This was almost exactly at the time the US and UK embassies warned of an impending risk of a strike in the Russian capital.
Shamsuddin, from Tajikistan, was caught on camera at Crocus City Hall on March 7, it is claimed.
A photographer said he was working at Crocus on March 7 taking pictures of visitors, capturing a photo of Shamsuddin by chance.
The following day stories ran saying the US and UK embassies had issued highly unusual warnings to say “extremists” had imminent plans to attack “large gatherings” in Moscow.

President Putin would dismiss the warnings – which were also passed privately to his security chiefs – as a “provocation”.
But it appears the US, which was first to issue the alert, had intelligence on the plans of an ISIS-linked cell.
The American embassy said: ‘Extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, to include concerts, and U.S. citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings over the next 48 hours.”
It appears the US going public with the threat led to a delay by the “terrorists” who struck on Friday evening.
The revelation emerged as newly-released state TV footage revealed the moment Vladimir Putin was told of the atrocity.
The footage is from a propaganda broadcast intending to show Putin was fully in command.
He is seen grabbing an outdated landline phone apparently being briefed on the initial incident.
The grim-faced tyrant is seen listening to a briefing on the phone and barking: “Until we speak….”
On the next call, Putin, 71, asks: “No changes?”
He then queries what he has been told, asking: “Eleven people have been detained?”
Many will see it is a stunt to seek to show Putin is in control of events.

However, timelines of the attack suggest a flat-footed response from President Putin’s commanders.
CCTV footage shows the gunmen began shooting at 7:58pm and were inside the Crocus complex from 8:01pm.
They left only 12 minutes later at 8:13pm in a white Renault to start their escape, which Putin has alleged was intended to see them go to Ukraine.
After another 12 minutes a fire breaks out in the building.
At 8:26pm it was reported by TASS that the emergency services were evacuating people.
Accounts suggest firefighters only arrived at 9:06pm.
The suspects were forced into courtrooms today
Yet it would be only at 9:30pm that an assault by special forces began.
Some accounts suggest this was later, at 9:43pm with firefighters entering Crocus.
Firefighters and medics had not been able to enter until the security services were ready.
President Putin has alleged a Ukrainian link – this was where the alleged terrorists were heading, while the version from US intelligence is that an ISIS affiliate was involved.
