The fifth and final part of the Spanish phenomenon Money Heist is expected to hit screens this summer. Until then, some observant fans have been keeping their eyes open for more clues and updates to fuel their theories, and may have already deciphered what’s next for The Professor (played by Álvaro Morte) and his team when the show comes back to Netflix.
Viewers have singled out Tatiana (Diana Gómez) to play an instrumental role in the fifth and final instalment of Money Heist.
Filming is currently winding down in Madrid, with new episodes expected to be released on Netflix later this year.
During the lengthy hiatus, subscribers and fans have been dissecting the various updates from set to narrow down the next set of shocking twists and revelations.
Some photos from behind-the-scenes have reportedly confirmed Berlin (Pedro Alonso) will have more of his backstory explored in the coming season, following his death at the end of season two.

Berlin previously showed up in seasons three and four, where it was revealed he used to be married to a woman named Tatiana.
Her fate in the present day has yet to be confirmed, though many fans have speculated she may have been in on the plans thanks to her close relationship with Berlin’s half-brother, the Professor.
Meanwhile, others have suggested she could be brought back as another foil for the team thanks to her striking resemblance to their current nemesis, Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri).
Ahead of the final episodes releasing to Netflix, fans have been busy on message boards putting forward their theories for Money Heist’s fifth season.
Plus, Alonso has also been photographed alongside newcomer for season five, Patrick Criado.
It’s agreed among some parts of the fanbase that Criado, 25, is likely to play Berlin and Tatiana’s son in season five.
With Diana Gómez not yet confirmed to be returning to the series, viewers could learn more about their failed marriage in the coming episodes.
The Redditor continued: “Tatiana knows the plan – I’m guessing she’s the mother to the new blonde guy who we will see as Berlin’s son?”
Season five could also unlock Berlin and Tatiana’s connection to Alicia, and finally explain why the disgraced inspector is so hellbent on taking them down.
Finally, they added: “Also on the lines of Tatiana, it’s likely that she’s somehow related to Alicia – I don’t think they’re the same person but maybe sisters?
“Personally, I think it’s possible Alicia and Berlin somehow knew each other because Alicia could be Tatiana’s sister.”
While Berlin hasn’t officially been part of the team since his death at the end of the first heist, his presence has still been felt throughout the rest of the series.
Could this new theory finally reveal his connection to the team’s new rival before the series is brought to an explosive conclusion?
Money Heist seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
