A NEW court sketch of the Menendez brothers has been released after their appearance in court today.
The sketch is the first updated one to be revealed in decades.

Lyle and Erik Menendez appeared before a judge today to appeal for a resentencing after they were convicted of murdering their parents, Kitty and Jose Menendez.
In the sketch, the brother’s body language seems serious and tense as the hearing goes on.
In the sketch, Lyle stares straight ahead, ignoring the person on stand whereas Erik directs his gaze towards the stand.
The brothers have spent more than 30 years behind bars and are using renewed public interest in their case to levy their appeal for resentencing.
