The body language expert continued: “The couple’s attention is exclusively on one other here. Even little Archie has been left out of the pose, meaning all the emphasis is on the relationship between Harry and his wife.”
Judi added: “Even the audience haven’t been invited to intrude, we are just allowed to watch from a discreet distance, the kind of distance you would naturally create out of politeness if you chanced about this type of intensely romantic signals from a couple in the park.”
This is very different to Charles and Diana’s photo, as there are other people present, besides from the couple: William and the cameraman or woman.
Judi said that Harry and Meghan’s “intimacy” are “as intense as possible” in their photo, but as for Diana and Charles, “it was a case of sharing a small bench and sitting as far apart as possible down either end”.
“It looks very much as though it is only William in the middle who is prompting any joint communication here,” the body language expert added.
