Later, the bungalow was sold at auction for £90,000 and the successful bidder was Craig, who was bidding on behalf of his son, also called Craig, and Craig’s partner, Zoe.
The couple had three children, two-and-a-half-year-old Niamh and 15-month-old twins Craig and Adelaide.
They explained they were interested in the property because they “could never afford to buy the house” they eventually wanted to live in.
They fell in love with the Cornish bungalow though, more due to the location rather than the property, which they described as “a glorified caravan”.
They went onto tell Martin they planned to knock it down and make it habitable as quickly as they could.
Homes Under the Hammer airs weekdays on BBC One at 10am.
