The filmmaker said stencils can be used in both kitchens and bathrooms to create detail.

A lot of people trying to replicate Italian style often buy tiles with digital patterns on them.

However, Kylie said one of the reasons Italian decor is so charming is because it contains “human error”.

“Everything is made by hand and that’s what makes it beautiful,” she added.

If you’re short on drawer space in your kitchen, Kylie recommended buying raffia pots to put cutlery and other utensils in on the work surfaces.

She also bought large, rustic jars to store ingredients on her worktop as she didn’t have a lot of room in her cupboards.

To label the pots, she simply used masking tape and a pen – an affordable yet effective method.
