M25 traffic latest: M25 to be shutdown by climate change protesters– delays after spillage

Earlier this morning, there were also traffic delays due to a crash and oil spillage anticlockwise between Junction 8 at Reigate and Junction 7.

Traffic service Inrix said: “Sensors suggest traffic has been released after a hold for around 15 minutes with matrix signs suggesting lanes one and two (of four) remain closed.”

The campaign group has been calling on the Government to take action on home insulation.

Insulate Britain spokesperson Nathaniel Squire, a 25-year-old osteopath from Redruth, previously said: “Insulating Britain’s homes is a simple step to take to decarbonise Britain.

“Not only is it a necessary step towards achieving the government’s net zero targets but it also helps millions of vulnerable people in Britain.”
