Production for the sixth and final season of Lucifer is finally starting to settle down as fans are still waiting for season five to conclude on Netflix. Over on Instagram, main star Aimee Garcia has revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the final scene set in the show’s iconic nightclub, Lux.
Ella Lopez star Aimee Garcia has shared a final look at Lucifer Morningstar’s (played by Tom Ellis) popular nightclub Lux on her Instagram page.
Known in the series as one of LA’s prime party destinations, Lux has provided the backdrop to some of the show’s biggest moments.
The star took to her Instagram stories to confirm shooting was underway for the nightclub’s final exterior sequence.
Her post featured a sneak peak at the outside of the club, complete with Lux’s recognisable light fixtures against the LA skyline.

However, as the set is currently decked out with lights and sound equipment, it appears Lux will be playing a pivotal role in Lucifer’s final episodes.
Along with Lucifer’s penthouse and the LAPD precinct, Lux has remained one of the show’s primary shooting locations since the first season.
The devil’s ‘Den of Sin’ showed up several times in the first half of Lucifer season five, most prominently in the episode ‘BluBallz’.
Another classic crime caper for the series, this instalment saw Chloe Decker (Lauren German), Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and Linda Martin (Rachael Harris) using the club to draw out an elusive killer.
Lux has also become the centre stage for some of Lucifer’s biggest action sequences in the past, and could play a similar role in season six.
Netflix have yet to confirm an official release date for the final season, though fans are still waiting patiently for the continuation of season five following coronavirus delays.
It’s hoped season 5b will finally surface in the next couple of months, though viewers may be waiting until 2022 to see Lucifer in action one last time.
Lucifer Season 5, Part 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
