Love Island’s Molly Mae Hague splits from fiancé Tommy Fury

Love Island alum Molly Lae Hague revealed that her relationship with Tommy Fury is over.

On Wednesday, the reality star took to Instagram to announce the news. “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,” Hauge captioned an Instagram story. “I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”

She continued: “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.”

The pair met on in 2019 during season 5 of Love Island U.K., where they finished in second place on the series. Hague concluded the statement thanking fans for supporting their journey.

“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all,” Hague wrote. “Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right.”

Fury also shared a statement of his own about the breakup. ”I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship,” he wrote in an IG story. “The past 5 years have led us to having our beautiful baby girl Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.”

The professional boxer also asked for “privacy” as they navigate the “difficult time.”

A few years after the show, the couple announced they were expecting a child together in September of 2022.

After Bambi was born, Hague shared a proposal video where he’s seen holding their daughter before getting down on one knee. The 25-year-old is seen crying in the video before saying yes.

Interestingly, just three weeks prior to Wednesday’s split announcement, Hague posted about the pair celebrating their one year engagement anniversary.

“One year ago today I was tricked into going on a fake brand trip on which the love of my life would ask me to marry him.”
