Police were initially called to reports of a fight in London Road in West Croydon at 6.41pm. Officers attended but didn’t find any suspects or victims.
Officers were later to a south London hospital at 7.08pm after a teenage boy – whose exact age has yet to be released – presented himself with stab wounds.
Despite the best efforts of doctors at the hospital he died a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed.
A crime scene has put in place outside West Croydon Station.
