Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has admitted he still doesn’t know whether he will stay at the club beyond the end of the season or leave on a free transfer.
Wijnaldum is set to become a free agent at the end of the season and a host of clubs are interested.
Barcelona, who tried to sign him last summer, are leading the way along with Inter Milan.
Wijnaldum is in the final few months of his contract, which will expire at the end of the current season.
Reports have suggested he was previously in talks over a new deal, but there is nothing currently on the table from the club.
Having been almost undroppable for Jurgen Klopp this season, the Reds are unwilling to lose the central midfielder.
But speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Wijnaldum confirmed there is still no update on his future.
He admitted that he currently doesn’t know if he’ll stay or leave in the summer.
“That’s a lot of questions at one time,” Wijnaldium said when asked about his future. “I want to answer them all but at the moment there is no news right now.
