Actress and singer Lea Michele revealed Wednesday she’s expecting her second child with husband Zandy Reich, sharing a photo of her growing baby bump on Instagram.
The 37-year-old “Funny Girl” star and clothing company president already share 3-year-old son, Ever Leo Reich. There’s no word yet on the sex of the incoming sibling.
“Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed,” Michele wrote in the caption of her post.
The Broadway star has been open about her past attempts to get pregnant again and struggles with fertility.
“Our journey bringing [our second baby] into this world was not easy, and we have had some heartbreaks already this time around,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in 2022, but added that she had “faith God will bring us another when the time is right.”
A year earlier, Michelle told Katherine Schwarzenegger in an Instagram Live interview that she initially feared she and her husband weren’t ever going to be able to conceive.
“I kept thinking, ‘Maybe this isn’t meant to be for me. Maybe this isn’t going to happen.’ It’s something that for me, personally, was always my biggest fear in my entire life. It’s what I’ve wanted more than anything,” Michele said. “Emotionally, it just started to build and build… then we got pregnant.”
The couple welcomed son Ever on Aug. 20, 2020.
The “Glee” alum has been married to Reich, 41, the co-founder and president of clothing brand AYR, since March 2019. The pair reportedly met at a mutual friend’s wedding and eventually went public with their relationship in 2017.
