Lady Gaga’s dogs, Koji and Gustav, have been handed in to Los Angeles police, “safe” and unharmed by a mystery woman who was “uninvolved” with the armed theft, LA police have reported. Just hours ago the popstar – real name Stefani Germanotta – issued a heartfelt plea on social media after her two dogs were stolen at gunpoint and her dog walker shot trying to protect them.

Actress and singer Lady Gaga’s, 34, two French Bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, have been safely returned to her representatives after a mystery woman handed them in to police.

Taking to social media less than a day ago, the award-winning actress issued a heartbreaking plea for the safe return of her dogs, along with a $500,000 reward.

The Hollywood star’s plea came after her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot by two men during the armed robbery in Los Angeles.

The attack came as thieves approached the popstar’s employee, who was walking Koji and Gustav in the star’s neighbourhood, before telling him to “give it up”.

Surveillance footage from a neighbour’s home shows a struggle ensuing between the three men before a gun can be heard going off.

Lady Gaga’s dog walker was shot in the chest and the thieves took off with two of the singer’s dogs after the third, Asia, ran away from the scene.

It has been reported that the singer’s employee is currently in hospital and will make a full recovery.

The two men have not yet been found.

A police spokesman at the Olympic Community Police Station in LA said that the woman who returned the dogs appeared to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with the robbery.

It read: “My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago.

“My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.

“I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email [email protected] to contact us.

It continued: “Or, if you bought or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same.

“I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”

The theft comes a day after the actress arrived in Rome to start filming the Gucci movie which is directed by Ridley Scott.

The screenplay follows the story of Gucci ‘Black Widow’ Patrizia Reggiani, played by Stefanie, who was jailed for the murder of her ex-husband and one-time head of Gucci house, Maurizio Gucci.

This is the second film for the 11-time Grammy-winning singer, who starred in A Star Is Born alongside Bradley Cooper and wrote number one hit Shallow from the screenplay.
